Car description |

Up for grabs is a nice and clean 75 Riviera pop top camper. The Riviera was an American made conversion built on a Kombi chassis and is very similar to the German Westfalia campers. However, unlike its Westy counterpart the Riviera offers a straight pop top roof for additional headroom.
This bus should be considered a project that runs but is not currently road worthy. Currently, it will only hold idle if you feather the gas and keep it revved up. The battery is also dead, so it needs a jump to fire over. Everything else about the bus is awesome though: full pop top with "canvas" (vinyl on Rivieras) in good shape, nice upholstery, full camper kit that sleeps 4 and includes a sink, ice box, closet, bed, curtains, shore power adapter, propane tank, etc. Motor is a fuel injected model, and being a 1975 there is no requirement for a smog test in CA - a nice bonus. It has very little rust and iconic orange paint. Pictures tell the rest of the story I believe. With some work and a little love you could be camping in no time. I do not have much history on the bus, so what you see is what you get.
Worldwide shipping available.Delivery to the Port of Richmond or the Port of Oakland can be arranged for an additional $200.
This bus is sold "as-is, where-is" with no warranties expressed or implied, etc. Feel free to come look it over in person or send a mechanic/vehicle inspector prior to bidding. Immediate $500 deposit due at conclusion of the auction with the remainder to be paid either via cash, PayPal, or wire transfer.
