1988 Volksagen Scirocco 16V

1988 VW Scirocco 16v odometer shows 98000 miles but not sure what true mileage is runs and drives no rust or rot anywhere I can see. 15" wheels 5spd manual I bought as a restoration project site unseen and had shipped to me and I don't fit in the car i've only had a few weeks so don't know much about it. I was told the block is a newer 2.0 block.Any questions send message.. I will try to answer best i can
