The car has 53,516 original miles on it, it was a garage find that was parked for quite some time, Car has been completely gone through with the following services performed, set of new tires with less than 100 miles on them, a/c completely serviced, new compressor, new evaporator, rebuilt condensor, recharged and blows cold, new battery, all new fluid, new plug and plug wires, new headlights, all new bulbs, new shifter bushings. The cars clear coat was worn, the car was completely sanded down and primed and repainted in base coat/ clear coat in its factory Flash Silver Metallic. The car does not drip any fluids or smoke what so ever, car runs and drives like a 16 valve scirocco should, quick and responsive and shifts excellent and smooth, all lights work, has the original radio, warranty card and manuals including the original sales brochure,, seats front and rear have no rips and are excellent, dash has zero cracks, all glass is good. factory rug is excellent. The original rubber side trim comes with the car, it was taken off when it was painted. the rubber around the exterior passenger and driver windows shows dry rot at the belt line, the original tear drop rims are nice they do have some scuff marks, the car has no rust I have pictures taken when it was on a car lift I can supply if requested. The previous owner upgraded the exhaust. The car has a rebuilt title, I have the complete car fax on this vehicle, it was stolen off the car lot and recovered the very next day without any accidents or damage, when a vehicle is stolen no matter damage or not it is branded as a rebuilt title, the car has never been hit or damaged. the car displays excellent over all and it is a nice unmolested low mileage example its not mint but a nice drive, they only produced approx 3,700 16 valve sciroccos in 1987 and 1988 making it a fairly rare sports car.
