1971 yellow VW Karmann Ghia. I just purchased it in July on an impulse due to the good situation of it, but I just can't afford it; so my loss can be your gain. The good situation story is that the previous owner's family decided to sell it after he died 36 YEARS AGO and it sat under blankets in a garage! Since I got it I had all the fuel lines replaced, new fuel filters, and new carb too. I have that receipt where I picked it back up yesterday totaling $1,400. It's an "auto-stick" so the shifter goes in either reverse or drive and drives as automatic. It has just under 38,600 original miles! It runs very strong! I put it in two large car shows already where in one it won Best Import, and the other it won Best in Show overall. The dash has the usual crack in it in the middle, but I have a brand new dash replacement that's included. I hate to get rid of it as this is the best yellow Ghia I'll probably ever see! It has two little nicks on the hood that aren't dents, and one ding on the deck lid. I'm in the Huntsville Alabama area, and I'll be more than happy to pick you up at the Huntsville airport (HSV) so you can inspect it. It is a 46 year old car so I do encourage you to come see it for yourself as it is sold "as is" with no warranty or guarantees. Its definitely a great and rare find!
