Selling a 1977 VW Bus/Westfalia Camper.
This bus is mostly complete, and has all the hard to find camper stuff including the fridge, stove/sink, and tables. The cushions are all original material and are in amazingly good shape. Most of the window curtains are there and original.Camper canvas has a few holes, but it is very usable and the holes could easily be patched.
The bus runs decent. Shifts in all gears and the brakes stop it well. - This had been sitting for many years, and certainly should be thoroughly gone through before calling it roadworthy. I replaced the starter and installed new plugs, wires, and points.
The body - take a look at the pictures. Someone put a Maaco type paint job on it years ago and its in need of a re-do. There are some holes in the typical spots - Floors are great (see pictures). This van was in North Carolina for part of it's life and it shows underneath.
I bought this intending on restoring it, but decided I have too many projects going on to get to it!Perfect winter project for someone!
Please take a good look at the pictures for body condition.
These camper bus VW's are getting real hard to find, and this one is an excellent restoration candidate!
Any questions please contact me and I'll do my best to answer them.
This is for sale locally and I may end the auction at any time for a local sale.
