1956 Volkswagen Oval Window Ragtop
This beautiful car was restored in the early 90's or late 80's and was rarely driven after being restored. It is an original sunroof car, not grafted in, as many are. The interior is a high quality job, not a pre-made kit. The headliner shows some glue staining along the sunroof opening due to age but other than that is fantastic. The car runs and drives wonderfully, the engine has been exchanged with a rebuilt engine sometime in the past so it is not original to the car. It is the correct engine for the car and runs great. The transmission works flawlessly. The right side fenders both have a crack in the paint from being bumped while in being stored in a garage; this car was in storage for over 12 years. This could be easily fixed but the car shows great as it is, as the pictures attest. The brakes are new, the tires are new, fuel pump and carburetor have just been rebuilt as well. The rag-top is in great condition and works perfectly. There are NO signs of any damage or Rust on this car. In closing, this is a great car and is a rare find these days. This car is ready to get in and drive. Contact me with any questions.
