Car description |

1969 Westy Pop-Top, walk-thru, solid body, some dents and scratches. Mostly original paint.
-It had a newer 1600cc single port motor and starts up first time. Runs strong, but typical bus, not very fast. Has full flow oil filter and aftermarket oil pressure, temp gauge inside driver compartment. Speedo says 7,000 miles, but it has turned over.-Stock transmission works perfect, does not pop out of any gears.-Brakes work great for drum brakes. Even the Emergency brake works!-All lights works as they should.-All four tires are almost new and in very good condition with lots of tread.-Has original Westy interior, but is missing the fridge. Has bed, wardrobe closet, jump seat, table, and headbanger storage, with original wood headliner. Has curtains too.-Pop top canvas need to be replaced.-After market radio works-Aftermarket push button ignition
Mostly solid bus, small dents on the rear corners, small rust on passenger dogleg, frame and underneath are solid. The deck lid has some dents, but I have another original paint one that comes with the bus. Mostly original paint is showing it age and has scratches. Rear hatch seal needs to be replaced and the hatch needs a minor adjustment to the mechanism. Front seats are worn as is the bed vinyl.
I've owned this bus for three years and it was my daily driver. It has a clear California title in my name. It has been non-op status for the last year and a half. No DMV fees! I was planning on restoring this bus, but my focus has changed to another project. Drive it as is and enjoy camping this summer, or restore.
SUPER LOW RESERVE! My reserve is lower than any other running, driving Pop-Top Westy on the market!
Thanks and good luck.
This bus is sold as-is, where-is. No warranty is given or implied. $1000 deposit is due within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Payment in full is due within 5 days. Bid to win, super low reserve!

Here is a video I shot today (Sunday 6/18) of the bus starting, the gauges, and the radio working. I haven't driven the bus in over a month and it started first time like a champ. It has greatoil pressure and it purrs like a kitty!!
