Car description |

This 1969 Volkswagen "Campmobile 70" Type 2 is up for sale. Like many Volkswagen vehicles of the era this bus has rust, dents and dings on many panels. I have not found any structural rust issues and believe this to be a good staring point for project or restoration. Partially complete amateur repairs to the rocker panels, and rear corners were performed by the previous owner. Buyer should assume that many components will need to be replaced or repaired before this bus can be driven again.
When last driven the transmission shifted well. The interior is incomplete, missing the original kitchen and other Westfalia components. The blinkers, wipers motor, lights, and radio are functional. All doors and windows operate as intended. This bus will need brake repair, fuel system cleaning, tune up, battery, and other repairs before it is drivable. The bus can not be driven home, buyer is responsible for towing or trailering from its current location. The engine was last run in October of 2018.
Buyer will pay $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of commitmentto purchase. This vehicle is sold with a clean Oregontitle, buyer will receive the Oregon title and a bill of sale after payment of the final auction value. Buyer assumes all responsibility for transport and repair of this vehicle. I am available to show the vehicle, I would much prefer that potential bidders come inspect the bus before purchasing.
