1970 Volkswagen BAJA,

Offered here for your inspection and consideration is this 1970 Volkswagen Baja Bug. This VW is equipped with all the popular options to provide great on and off road enjoyment for the Baja enthusiast. The doors were recently removed stripped and totally rebuilt with all new weather stripping, eals, ing vent rubber, inge pins and door panels. The windows, ing vents and locks all function as they should. The windshield and rubber seal were replaced. The recliner seats are modified Honda Civic and have been recently re upholstered. A new black carpet kit was installed and a custom hinged rear shelf was fabricated to provide a flat carpeted surface for storage and a lower area for the Optima battery. This is a factory sun roof model and the roof panel fuctions properly. The dash cluster is custom and houses the stock speedometer and fuel gauge, hich both function, he ensemble is enhanced with a tachometer and oil temperature gauge.

The engine is a rebuilt 1600 dual port with several name brand performance accessories, lus a 40 IDA twin choke Weber carburetor. A Scat high volume oil pump and remote mounted oil cooler are also included. The exhaust system is an EMPI exratractor with chrome flame arrestor.

The chassis a ball joint front suspension and IRS rear suspension. This Baja has also been fitted with 4 wheel disc brakes and KYB gas adjust shocks.

Wheels are new white spoke 4 bolt with 31.0/10 x 15" rear with 165 x 15" front. spare wheel, ire and jack included. Luggage area has also been carpeted in black, ll weather carpet.

The front and rear tubular bumpers, ith trailer hitch, have been powder coated in black wrinkle finish. Also included in the sale are R/L nerf bars, oof rack and Hella fog lamps. The tunes are handled by Pioneer AM/FM/CD with 10" custom rear mounted speakers. Also included is a pro built tow bar, o tow this Baja behind your RV or Motor Home.

This is a fun little VW Baja Bug. Very comfortable and dependable. Everything on the car works.
