Car description

**PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE AD LISTING PAGE TO VIEW A COMPLETE SET OF DETAILED PHOTOS OF THE VEHICLE**Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very attractive TR3A Roadster. This car was purchased from a previous owner in North Carolina from at least the past 12 years who spent close to $20,000 on repairs and service work. As a result, this car was running and driving with constant care and maintenance lavished on it. The car is in a very nice cosmetic driver condition, not afraid to be used and enjoyed. The bodywork on this car is very decent with along with reasonable panel fit, which is expected for these cars. The car is a later "raised hinge" model with the improved and more rigid body pressings. All of the panels open and close fine. The paintwork presents very glossy and suits the car well. There are a few areas that are showing some age. The chromework is a mixture of some new and some nice, used original items. The windshield glass has a couple flaws and some minor wiper marks towards the upper portion of the glass. The car's engine starts easily on the button with good oil pressure, no smoke or noises, and runs very well. The engine block is sequenced close to the car's VIN number, most likely being the original engine. The car handles, rides, brakes, and shifts as expected. Most of the repair expense was put into the car's mechanicals, so it makes sense that the car runs, drives, and performs very well. There is currently a small exhaust leak up front. The engine bay is very clean with very staright dent-free inner fenderwells. It has been painted a pleasing semi-gloss black finish. The car's interior trim is in very good condition overall with nicely trimmed black vinyl seats with matching panel kit, newer black cut pile carpets, and fully functioning instruments (with a replacement temp guage). The car includes it's soft top frame, currently not mounted, a black tonneau cover, a sidecurtain set, floormat set, jack with handle, crank handle, and two service/repair books.Overall, a nice road car to be enjoyed going forward with pretty cosmetics and very good mechanicals.
