: 1959 Triumph TR3A in perfect condition, British racing green, lots of extras.

Reason for sale: I just retired at age 72 and wish to do more international travel.
So, the car won't be driven very much. I'd like to find a good home for this beauty with someone who will enjoy her.
Car has been kept in a sealed garage (also to protect it from rodent damage).
I purchased car in July 2007 with 4500 miles shown on speedometer. Actual miles on engine unknown.

4-speed transmission (NO overdrive).
No body rust nor under-body decay.
The convertible top, side curtains, top boot, and tonneau cover are all color matched to the tan color seats.
Side curtains have plexiglass windows that slide to open.
Full spare tire with tools including original lead hammer to remove lug nut.
External battery trickle charger.
Heavy duty 27F-60 battery.
165R15 radial tires in excellent condition. No cracks or splits.
Comes with the Kwik-lift car lift system. Makes oil changing MUCH easier. Photos and details shown below.

Converted to spin-off oil filter.
Dual brake cylinder with silicone brake fluid.
Alternator replaces generator.
Auxiliary radiator fan with dash mounted indicator light (you'll see the green light in the photos)
Rack and pinion steering.
Electric fuel pump.
Negative ground system replaces original positive ground.
New dual H6 carburetors
Negatives:
As with all early British sports cars, there is a slight seepage of oil from the main bearing seal.
I drive it only occasionally, so start-up idle is a little rough. You're going to have to clean the two carburetors.

Kwik-lift is made of laser cut high strength steel from United States steel mills, and then powder coated. Kwik-lift raises the bottom of your tires to 20" off the floor, placing the chassis between 30" and 36" off the floor, right at that convenient height for you to work in comfort.
