You are bidding on a 1975 Triumph TR6, his will be the fifth & final car that I will have sold through Ebay from my car collection that I started over 45 years ago. I am reluctantly selling this TR6 (as we did the others).... but given my age and desire to reduce my car collection & to focus on just a handful of my long term favorites, t is time for it to go to a new home. This Triumph is absolutely gorgeous, xceedingly original, ell preserved, umbers matching, ully optioned (overdrive, oll bar, onza exhaust electronic ignition etc..) & entirely solid & sound. Finished in one of the most desirable factory original colors; French Blue (never painted) over its original black interior and matching top & tonneau covers. Can be driven anywhere, afe, eliable, ast.... and sounds sweet. A true survivor with only 81K original miles, t was never exposed to the elements or left to fall into disrepair. Being an entirely original car, he French Blue paint appears almost showroom fresh with the exception of a few minor imperfections (mostly on the trunk lid due to a suction cup luggage rack used when the first owner drove to his new residence in Little Rock, olorado, SA.) The accident free body is super straight showing all original factory panel gaps (even the original primer where the factory blue paint missed the underside of the doors still shows with absolutely no rust/corrosion).... there is absolutely no body filler in any area of the car (there are some tiny door / fender dents that were the result of careless parkers opening their doors against the TR). The car's undercarriage is entirely original and sound, ree of any corrosion and completely straight and correct, his car has never been dismantled and the underside shows limited exposure to moisture. The car's interior is in similarly clean original condition, he seats have been professionally restored with new vinyl covers & foam backing, arpets and interior panels have all been replaced showing zero wear. The wood veneer dash shows slight patina however, ll other dash top cap & vinyl facia pieces are pristine. All gauges & switches are fully functional, nstalled is the dealer period correct AM/FM cassette stereo with upgraded rear deck mounted Pioneer speakers. Completely numbers matching and original, he 2.5L inline 6 cylinder starts effortlessly, dles consistently and pulls strong and smoothly through each of the gears. The engine & Overdrive Transmission were completely rebuilt in 2010. The engine compartment is pristine, he original paint has been detailed and waxed and shows as nice as the exterior. The original factory yellow chalk markings on the underside of the hood for the hinge positions are still intact! The trunk sports all of its original paint which has been detailed and polished to like new appearance. The spare rim has been painted and still sports an original Michelin Red line tire. Tool kit, ack are all secured in place (even the leather tie-down strap for the tool roll is still in perfect useable condition). The vehicle comes with driver's handbook, ocumented provenance, ncluding upgrades and detailing work carried-out, eritage Certificate ( to verify the noted chassis #, uild & dispatch dates including factory colors, rim and options - Overdrive) and receipts provided by previous owners. An extensive photo gallery of the car is available on request. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire an incredibly original, umbers matching, echanically excellent, harmingly patinaed and entirely honest preserved example of one of histories most important sports cars. Finished in a desirable color combination & fully factory optioned TR6 that is exhilarating to drive. If you're in the market for a Triumph, his lovely original TR6 certainly deserves your serious consideration. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like, ore pics are available beyond what the Ebay auction shows...they may be requested by sending me your personal email address. I can also provide a list of new parts, pgrades, estoration work completed & items rebuilt dating back to 2009. My opening auction price is less than what I have invested in this car and you would be hard pressed to find one comparable for the same price. I have tried to take pictures of all aspects of the car including the underside, owever I don't have a hoist and took them laying underneath. If you want specific pics please feel free to ask, will do my best to accommodate. Given that I am located in Canada, ome US & off-shore buyers may be reluctant to bid given the border crossing and or importation paperwork required to import the vehicle to their home destination... I can assist with providing the buyer with contact info to an International transportation company (specializing in relocating vintage & classic cars worldwide) that will safely and at a reasonable cost transport the vehicle. I have personally used this company several times and have been extremely pleased with the pick-up & delivery. Please note; The California plates displayed on the Triumph were provided by a friend who used the car for a photoshoot in a local travel agency ad promoting Canadian travel to California. The copy of the ad will be available once the publisher issues the promotion. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required withing 24 hours of auction close. Balance of payment must be made within 7 days of auction close.
