Up for sale is a 1980 Triumph TR7 convertible . this is a running and driving car . car is complete .Car was inherited by the last owner from his father . He took the car's interior apart and some of the trim off in a effort to start a restoration . he purchased some new parts from various restoration houses and these are included in with the car and I have tried to depict them in photos along with any loose items . The last owner had done some suspension and fuel system up grades including struts and performance spring, new steeting rack and a WEBER DGV Conversion Kit for the carbs and intake . A performance header was also added. There are 4 new tires on the car but they are several years old with no millage on them. Right now the car starts and drives but needs the following items to be road-able first and formost is a gas tank from sitting years (1997 to present) the tank has rotted out and is completely un-salvageable . I got the rest of the fuel system up and running with some new parts and lines including a electric fuel pump to replace the unavailable and unreliable original . the car is supplied fuel from a can in the trunk. Second the car needs a cooling fan clutc, this is the part that allows the fan to free wheel when the motor is coo, he bearing is noisy there is no need to replace the whole fan assembly because the bearing is available for a few dollars online. to shorten this up here is a list of things that don't work the right headlamp motor diodes are ba, ome of the small light, here is no radio and the heater control needs attention. The body is very good over al, here are some dents and small area of rust on the lower front wheel arch of the front fender please see pictures . floors and frame are rust free. so is the trunk floor. I realize theses cars are not worth a lot of money so I am willing to be reasonable on the price . thank you for looking!
