1980 Triumph Spitfire Base Convertible 2-Door 1.5L

This is not a project car but a well sorted driver. The following is a partial list of new parts with less than 300 miles drive time: Tires, hocks, lectric Cooling fan, lternator, gnition (Distributor, lectronic's, lugs, ires, oil & Cap), lectric Fuel pump, tarter, nterior with new seat foam, arpet, ith new insulation underneath to help quiet the ride. All weather stripping is new to include the side window scrapers. The Kenwood radio has a remote and an aux jack to plug in a phone for listening to your own recorded music. The car is equipped with a Rebuilt Weber 2-barrel carburetor and 4-1 header connected to a totally rust free exhaust system. I removed the gas tank and cleaned it to insure no future fuel contaminate problems/replaced the sending unit. The convertible top is in very good condition and the paint is base coat clear coat with no visible rust, ents or scratches. This car was partially disassembled for paint about 8 years ago. After paint, he car sat in a garage and was never driven before my purchase. I have a book of color pictures and receipts showing the purchase condition of this car and my progress. $5000.00+ in receipts. This was a good project for me, ow I am looking to get my money back and start another. The car shifts, tops runs and drives as it should. This car attracts much attention while driving because it is unique and shows very well. Great toy!
