79-83 FJ40s are the most sought after and command the highest price particularly upon restoration, they had low import numbers and featured many upgrades over earlier versions.

MECHANICAL

2F motor runs well, 4-speed and transfer case work well, 3.70 highway flyer gearing, power front disc brakes. Land Cruiser can be hot wired, I have driven it around property with gas can in front seat.

BODY

Most of the panels are salvageable. I would replace the tub, there are several aftermarket companies that make steel reproduction tubs.

This cruiser should be completely disassembled for restoration. It has been sitting along time so, I did not hook up the gas tank and it need rewiring.

TITLE

I have a clean, clear Washington State title that matches the VIN tag.

DEPOSIT

I require a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 via PayPal immediately concluding auction.

PAYMENT

The remaining funds are due within 3 days of auction closing via bank to bank wire transfer to my U.S. Bank Business Account or cash in person only. No trades or financing of any type. No PayPal for remainder due - deposit only!

I welcome and encourage you to conduct an independent inspection of the vehicle prior to purchase. I do my best to provide you with information, videos and photos however, I do not presume to be able to discern every individuals’ expectations. Feel free to come and look for yourself, or send your mechanic, appraiser, wife, priest, baby’s mama-cause we don’t want no drama – I want you to be comfortable with your purchase and love your classic vehicle! Just be advised your inspection needs to be completed prior to the completion of the auction or purchase of the vehicle because once you purchase or win auction it is contractually owned by you.
