The Story:
Older Toyota 4WD trucks have become very rare, most have been bought up and shipped south of the border never to return. I don't normally list "rough" project/restoration vehicles but I am a Toyota 4WD Truck and Land Cruiser fan of 35 years and I'm hoping this very rare truckgoes tosomeone that will bring it back to life.

This truck was traded in at a local new car store, they brought with a bunch of others in to my buddy's salvage yard. I cannot stand to see a Toyota 4 wheel drive pickup get taken apart, especially oneas unusual asthis.

Starts right up, is drivable but has no brakes whatsoever.This type ofcustom extended cab and frame used to be pretty popular (see last photos) I see some new parts (distributor, fuel pump, wires etc) under hood. Theengine starts right up,sounds good, clutch works but make no mistake this rig needs a full rebuild.

I have nothing but great memories of every 80s Toyota truck I owned 20+ years ago. We camped and explored all over the southwest, beaches in Mexico, Mountains in Colorado and Utah, everywhere. I think this truck is worth bringing back to life.
