1981 Toyota Corolla Wagon TE72

3TC 1.8L, 5 speed manual transmission. Rear Wheel Drive, AM/FM radio,88,900 approximate miles. Manual locks, windows.Power brakes and power steering.No cruise control or A/C.

This Corolla has been switched from automatic to a manual transmission to make this car more enjoyable. All new parts where used during installation. 81' model T50 with TE pedal box and pedals installed, withalater AE gear shifter also used.

Newer 4 year old Weber 32/36 Carburetor. De-Vacuumed and smog pump removed. A/C was removed due to entire system in disrepair.

New 2" exhaust from the exhaust manifold back, including a new flow master muffler. The car is not loud or droning.

Original Interior, some rips and tears arein the vinyl. Dash has cracks. Steering wheel has been changed to a three spoke wheel.

Southern car, Very dry and rot free. Paint and graphics are original, onlytwo small rust 'spots' at the bottom front door corners, one spot on fender. Front passenger fender has a medium dent ahead of the front wheel. This cosmetic damage is old damage, but not structural or overly noticeable. Shown in photos. All glass is oem.

Wheels are Konig Rewinds. 14 x 7 with Fuzion sport touring tires and Toyota center caps.

Recent maintenance items replaced.

Clutch, pressure plate, bearings, wheel cylinders, front calipers, pads, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, brake master cylinder and brake booster,fuel pump, Weber carburetor, water pump, all hoses, belts, flexible gas lines from gas tank and under the hood. Thermostat, battery, NGK spark plugs, cap, rotor and wires. Headlights, turn signal bulbs, interior bulbs and fuses, Trunk shocks. Wipers. Valve cover gasket. Many other small items replaced.

Spare tail lights, assorted trim and rear bumper included with sale.

Fuel gauge gives a lazy reading.

All fluids have been flushed and changed to synthetic.

TE Chassis platform is similar to AE, Most parts are available, including supportive performance aftermarket.

I have enjoyed this car, it's rare nowadays, lightweight and fun. I would love to see it beappreciated further.

Driven weekly, Medium 50 mile trips.
