1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 3.9L 4WD

1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. I purchased this project from a gentleman that had it sitting in his driveway for 10 years. It has been sitting in mine for 2 years. I don't want history to repeat so it needs to find a new home and be enjoyed. I installed new points, rotor, plugs, and wires. Replaced the clutch master and slave (Aisin parts). Installed new Cooper 30x9.5x15 tires. Got it running and rolling. There is a connecting rod knock in the bottom-end. The truck will idle and drive, the higher the RPM the more audible the knock. There is a lot of rust. Please look at all the photos. There are numerous holes in the floor panels. The rear tailgate is not original, it is aluminum. Frame is solid, no holes and no soft spots. The engine and 3-speed are original, the carb was swapped out for an aftermarket Weber. Excellent project for someone who can put in the TLC.
