Classic FJ40 1974.Good: Has 3 speed, cylinder (1973 F engine).. Runs good. No leaks. Brand new "Hell for Stout" 4 inch complete lift kit with greasable shackles and spring pins. The suspensions are made exclusively for FJ40's. Just google and see how nice they are. New 33 inch mud tires. New voltage regulator. Painless wiring kit. Seats, ash pads recovered. Full hard top intact (windows good) with ambulance doors. New bikini top. New brake calipers and some new lines. I have steel braided extension lines for front and rear that need to be installed. May or may not be completed by the time I sell. 10,000 lb winch.Bad: Brake master cylinder sucking air. needs replaced or rebuilt. Pedal is soft and must pump.Tub is in bad shape. It has temporarily been wrapped in sheet metal but looks pretty good to me.Ambulance doors have typical rust at bottom. Top is from a 1975. Seats are just tack welded and need to be mounted correctly. Parking brake is disconnected. Steering has some play but can probably be adjusted some. I had to cut off suspension off (41 years of rusted bolts) Set screws on spring pins head broke off and need to be drilled out to put in new screws. (The new pin is installed with the big nut. Those of you who know about the FJ's should know what I mean. Nothing bad, ust haven't had time to work on it.Hate to let this go but I have absolutely no more time to work on it. FJ is located at my dad's house. I just moved to an HOA neighborhood and don't have room for it. I drove it to my dad's from my old house (about 7 miles) but very carefully while pumping brakes. There is a field and room to test drive their but I recommend towing.I may or may not have brakes fixed but like I said I just moved and have way too much to do. With a camper and a boat I decided this doesn't benefit my 4 children so letting it go. SERIOUS buyers only. This is not a NEW FJ. 41 years old . Take a look at pics and call or text me.
