Description
Up for sale is my 1987 Suzuki Samurai Special Edition. This is a very rare model, only a few hundred made and distributed to dealerships as display models. Has some surface rust and a couple small dinks on the rear right corner, but overall it looks great. Vehicle runs and drives but it sounds very rough. I had it briefly checked out by a mechanic, he said he would have to drop the engine to really find out what's wrong with it but told me from the sound it likely needs a rebuild. New engines can be purchased online for $1400, rebuild kits for $200, but I don't have the equipment, tools, space, or experience to remove an engine and install a new one or to rebuild the engine so I've decided to sell. Will be sad to see it go, a great vehicle that is fun to drive and is a real conversation starter around town.On Feb-06-17 at 20:31:52 PST, seller added the following information:Forgot to mention in my original description that the radio has a blown fuse. It is a very cheap repair (couple bucks), just never bothered doing it because I found using my Bluetooth Bose speaker to be much more convenient and better sound quality than the Samurai's dated speakers.
