Studebaker.
Beautiful 1953 Studebaker 2R11 truck.
My father spent 30 years restoring this truck, but never got to see it running down the road due to his passing. I inherited the truck two years ago and finished the total frame off restoration. The vehicle is perfect and is exactly as it was when it rolled off the assembly line. To include the six volt positive ground, the paint color(the truck was taken down to bare metal and repainted), the flat six cylinder Commando engine, and the double clutch. I have driven the truck several times and there are no issues what so ever.
The bed is perfect. The wood is simply on top of the metal bed for protection and appearance.
The list of things that have been rebuilt is to long to list. There is over forty thousand into the vehicle, so please keep that in mind if you decide to make me an offer. Also, please keep in mind that this is an extremely rare truck. It is not a 2R5 or a 2R6 and you will probably never see another one.
This truck spent it's entire life in dry Eastern Washington. The body is absolutely perfect with no rust, bondo or patch work. When the truck was taken down to bare metal, there were no signs that the truck was ever in an accident or damaged in any other way.
I have most if not all receipts for the restoration and a picture of the truck before the restoration.
It is licensed (1953 Classic plates) and titled under my name.
If you have any questions, please call me at (253) 606-1814.
Thank you for your time.
