Up for auction is a really nice 1956 Studebaker. The truck came from Texas and hasn't been on the road since 1987. I have most of the registrations from 60's until it was off the road. It was used on a farm in Texas as a cattlehauler. The truck runs and drives. It has a V8 gas engine and a manual transmission with a 2 speed rear end. The hydraulic brakes don't really work, but the mechanical brake does. I've driven this truck around my farm and it starts right up and goes. They body is in nice solid shape. The floor boards and frame are nice. It has a nice patina. It would make a great restoration project or rat rod. Obviously, this truck cannot be driven home. It runs and drives good enough to get on a trailer. The vehicle will not include the front license plate. I am in the auto transport business and can help with shipping.
