1960 Studebaker Hawk Project Car
This is a Project Car living in California since 1985 but came from Arizona. Runs, goes forwardsand backwards, need to go through the brake system and replace tires before driving.
Body: Pretty straight body with common Studebaker exterior rust around the removable panel areas EX wings, lower trunk lid, lower door and fender panels ect. Floors, trunk, and rest of the car seem very solid.. Nice body with some lots of potentialfor the ambitious! To be clear, the body does have rust to repair however the trunk and floors are nice.
Interior: Complete interior including factory seats and aftermarket A/C unit. Interior needs to be completely restored,
Brakes and suspension: Suspensionis all stock as well as the brakes. The wheel cylindershave been rebuilt however some of the brake lines should be repaired and system bled.
Engine and Trans: Engine and transmission are in running and operational status. Car starts, goes in and out of gears. Original V-8 that we believe is a 259 CID with automatic transmission, ..
Exhaust: Stock manifolds with dual exhaust however the pipes and mufflers will need to be replaced
Wheels and Tires: Stock Rims with hubcaps, Tires hold air but should be considered rollers.
Parts included: Some exterior trim not seen in the pictures come with the carThings to know: This is a running not yet driving project car. Car will need rust repair on portions of the exterior and likely needs a full restoration. Car will come with old Arizona Title and bill of sale. Previous owner brought the car to California in 1985 and never registered it. Long off the DMV system.Don't miss out on a great opportunity to own an Awesome american Classic! RARE
May be interested in some trades but prefer cash. I'm a Chevy guy so i'd look at Nova's Camaro', side by side like rhino, dune buggy, 30's hot rods, other projects, or?
