Up for auction is a 1960 Studebaker Hawk. Many things have been done to bring this piece of American History back to life. The V8 motor has been tuned up and runs good. New freeze plugs and fuel pump, rebuilt carb. The transmission was pulled and sent to Anaheim Gear for a full and complete rebuild, now having less than 10 miles on it. All new gears and seals were replaced in the 3 seed w/ OD manual transmission. While the trans was out the flywheel was surfaced and the clutch was conditioned. New 2 1/2" exhaust has been ran from the exhaust manifolds back to a single 2 chamber Flowmaster and out the back, has a real nice sound. The rims have been powder coated close to the original color of the car and wrapped with new black radial tires. The fuel tank was replaced with NOS Studebaker tank and sending unit. The brakes have been addressed and stop real well. The car does have normal rust for a car of this age. The main areas are around the rear and front windshield and few other areas I have provided pictures of. The seats, carpet and headliner are in good shape. The dash pad will need to be done as will the rear package tray. This car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. This car is located in Bakersfield, Ca and is welcome for inspection. I have clear and clean CA title in my name and the car is currently on non op.
