1963 Studebaker Fuel Tanker Truck
OriginalV8 Engine
4 speed with 2 speed rear end.
You are bidding on a 1963 Studebaker 1 ½ ton fuel tanker truck.
Original V8, speed with 2 speed rear end and power boost brakes.
Fuel tank capacity is 1000 gallons total with 4 separate tanks being 400, 00, 00, 00 gallons.
It has a new electric tank pump.
Has a unique rear tailgate and rear fenders that would look great with a new2 toned paint scheme and lettering across the tank.
Want something different and rare, omething for the farm, rivate airport, fuel gas tanker, nbsp;water tankerfor puttingout fires (forest, ouse or grass fires)or transporting water, mobile billboard, ovie prop, obil beer pub, r restore back to original.
Runs and drives fine but could use the following:
Hood has some bondo on it as do the right & left rear panels. It could use body work and a new paint job to look really nice.
Looks like it was originally red and Phillips 66. Would make awesome display with lettering across the tank.
There is a small rust spot on drivers floor, ut truck is very solid being from dry eastern Oregon dessert.
Brakes can be pumped up by adding fluid, ut will need a brake job.
Tires hold air fine, ut are cracking and should be replaced.
Windshield is cracked and seat cushion has tear.
Will require a trailer that hauls large tractors as its scale weight is 8,875.
Was being used on a farm until we purchased it a few years ago.
