1968 Shelby Ford Mustang GT 500 KR Convertible

This special order paint WT6066 Yellow KR Convertible is one of only 50 in this color and one of 518 total according to the Marti Report. It was purchased by the current owner 18 years ago. This magnificent Shelby has an automatic transmission and factory style air-conditioning (added). The AM Radio was replaced with an original AM/8Track radio. While there is no documentation, the previous owner stated that the mileage is original and currently is 65,436. The paint is also original. The convertible top was replaced at some point and changed from white to black.

The engine and transmission are original to the car and the engine is standard bore according to the owner’s knowledge. It features sequential turn signals and ten spoke wheels. All ’68 Shelby’s came with hubcaps and they are included with the car along with the surfboard in the photos. MCA Calendar Car and feature car in Mustang Monthly. Autographed by Carroll Shelby.
