The iconic SAAB 900 first generation between 1978-1993 were known as the "classic". In 1984 SAAB produced a high performance 900 known in Europe as the Aero in the states this 900 was called SPG. Biggest difference being cosmetic where bumpers on the SPG replaced by a wrap around front & rear, different wheel arches, and the infamous whale tail. With that said up for bid and your consideration this 1988 SAAB 900 Aero/SPG Turbo 16s showing 140K this car starts, runs, and drives great although engine makes a chattering noise. Drivetrain is solid with Erickson transmission. Interior is Buffalo Grey front drivers side seat needs insert on bottom all gauges, moldings, and switches are intact with am/fm/cd. Exterior Edwardian Grey in need of paint as clear coat has peeled has small ding on right side door otherwise clean and straight all trim, moldings, and glass intact. SPG wheels are straight and sporting Michelin tires. I have owned this car for six years last three of those stored outside in elements.
