MUST SELL before move on April 16th - Relisted with price drop
I'm selling my baby, a red 1987 Porsche 924S which has been in my family since it was new.
This car has a lot of recent investment to get it into much better shape, totaling $6,000 in the last year. Unfortunately, I can't afford to keep it any more.
- New Catalytic Converter (March 2020)- New Clutch slave cylinder and hose (July 2019)- Complete brake system fluid exchange (June 2019)- Replaced rear brake pads and rotors (June 2019)- New dome light (June 2019)- New engine fan switch (June 2019)- New fuel pump, filter, hoses, clamps, and DME relay (March 2019)- New battery (March 2019)- Replaced fuses, flushed old fuel, oil, fluids, filters, distributor cap, pneumatics (March 2019)- New Sumitomo Touring L4 tires and valve stems (March 2019)
The car is Good to Fair+ condition. It runs and is safe, but there is further work to be done. I am selling it As Is.
For the sake of transparency, here's the remaining work to get this car in great shape:
- Clutch needs work, trouble in low gears- Noise from old engine mounts- One power window switch- Sunroof worm cable- Gas gauge- Windshield wiper pump- Interior cosmetics including sun visor clips
(Most of the cost of remaining work is likely from labor, so this is at the point where it's an ideal project car.)
