This is NO RESERVE auction for 1966 Porsche 912 Coupe. Built by Porsche, not by Karmann. Light ivory with a black interior. Matching numbers. One owner car from new. 36,000 original miles. 5 speed transmission. Europeanimport.
This car was imported by the original owner in 1966 from the Porsche dealer in Amsterdam, Holland and was shipped into Cleveland, Ohio where it has stayed all of its life.
The car was registered and driven up until 1972, when it was garaged long-term for 47 years and taken out only last week.
An extremely straight and honest body, still has the original paint. Some minor bodywork was done around the lights as you can see in the pictures.
The original interior is in good shape and the low mileage is apparent just from looking at it!
Comes with a jack, an incomplete toolkit, owner's manual and five matching wheels with a January 1966 date stamp. Also includes the original Ohio State issued title from 1966.
There is rust on the body as you can see in the pictures but the original floors are seems to be solid.
The original engine does not turn over due to sitting for a long time.
Please scroll through to the end almost100 pictures which show the car in storage as we found it.
We keep the right to cancel the auction anytime, the car is advertisedmany places beside ebay.
A rare opportunity to own and restore a piece of history to its former glory.
