1964 Porsche 356C Project

1964 Porsche 356C coupe. Due to advancing corrosion issues in January 2014, the previous owner elected to have the car completely disassembled, taken to bare metal, media blasted. All body panels are present, and the previous owner cataloged/organized all of the parts and mechanicals included for reassembly. After stripping the body and media blasting the shell, the previous owner states that no evidence of prior accident damage has been found. The nose has been removed to replace and repair the inner panels as needed. New metal components purchased from Stoddard accompany the sale. The original Karmann body tag is included with the sale and will need to be re-attached when the metal work is completed. This 356C retains its original 1600cc engine, which was rebuilt with JE pistons and a 912 cam-grind by George Nelson in Milton, Massachusetts several years ago. It is paired to a correct 4-speed gearbox. During the mechanical refresh, the transaxle was removed, cleaned, and painted.
