Up for sale is my 356C that I have owned since 2006. Per COA it has original engine and transmission. It came in slate grey with a tan interior. In its past life it had been red and now its current green. Odometer shows 29K plus so it has almost surely rolled over and is more likely 129K. This car runs well and looks good. It has a current Texas inspection, registration and clear title. Although it has an older well patinated finish, it shines up fairly well. It has the original radio (stopped working) and everything works, including the clock. The tach was rebuilt by North Hollywood. I believe it has the original tan vinyl upholstery and headliner. The carpet is not Porsche original and needs replacement but it does the job. Recent Cocoa mats up front. Engine and brakes were rebuilt back in 2014 along with the fuel tank and fuel pump. All engine tin parts and fan shroud have been powder coated. The engine bay insulation was also replaced.Carbs have been rebuilt; has new battery, and fuse block. A new clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, and axle bootswere just installed along with a fresh tune-up and oil change. Although somewhat restoredlong ago, it has suffered in the intervening years. There exists some bubbling along the door bottoms and a few other spots around the car. Battery box is partially gone.It received a new floor pan in the past. It appears sound, but it may need replacement. There are other rust issues on the underside. See accompanying photos. That said this is a car that can be driven as is, or undertaken for a partial or full-up restoration. Either way, you can't lose with my reasonable reserve price. I am a 12 year PCA member and multiple Porsche owner. The 356 does not get much use and needs to move on. Car is for sale locally. Do not bid unless you have a minimum of 50 positive feedbacks. Bank to bank transfer is preferred method of payment. Thanks for bidding.
