Car description

Up for sale is my 1988 Porsche 944, I never really drive this much as I just have too many cars and its time to sell off a few.
Overall this is an awesome driver quality Porsche 944, its not abused and beat up but in no way is it a museum piece. Could be a daily driver or a fun little weekend car, you can make a case for either as the 944 I have always found to be a very reliable car.
This was bought from a previous owner that invested a lot into the mechanicals of the car including engine rebuilding and new clutch. Engine sounds excellent, has the 944 typical low rumble that makes these cars sound like they have a much bigger engine than what is actually under the hood.
Steering is converted to manual and has a very good feel. Brand new tires need balancing as cruising at 65mph you can feel some wheel wobble. Nothing terrible and this car can be driven anywhere as is, just something I would take care of. As stated, the tires are brand new, just maybe out of balance or possible flat spots that will go away with consistent use.
Nice OEM phone dial wheels that give it the perfect classic look. Wheels are in good driver grade shape.
Body has a few dings and imperfections as expected on a car that was built in the late 1980s.
Interior is good for its age, the dash has been recovered (decent, but not professionally done). Driver seat has a cover on it so no doubt it is a mess, the passenger seat has some rough spots but looks ok. Aftermarket radio works well, heat works, a/c was too cold to make a judgement on but I think I heard the compressor kick in when the button was pushed. Sunroof works.
Car has 95k miles however the previous owner said the odometer didn't work for about a year so actual miles are a bit higher.
Pop-up Headlights work (pictured) as does most everything on the car but there are some issues. First, the sunroof headliner is gone (pictured) so tht will need replacing. The windshield has a closed crack so it won't spread but is on the driver side and annoying but not really in your sight line. As mentioned its probably best to get a new driver seat and/or passenger seat. Starter occasioanally needs a couple turns of the key, not sure why but the car always starts just sometimes you need to turn the key twice.
In all the car is a nice find if you are in the market for a Porsche 944 and don't want to break the bank buying one. I guess the thing that is most worrisome about buying a car sight unseen is that you just don't know if you can trust it. That is no worry in this case as I know this car to be extremely reliable, son't expect the plush ride of a Cadillac but if you want an honest sportscar that you just may have found it.
No reserve, bid what you want and the high bidder will have a great car.
Clear title in my possession!
I am sure I forgot something so please feel free to email me with any questions and I will be glad to assist.
Buyer needs to make arrangements for shipping but I would be glad to help with loading on a transporter.
