Car description |

Porsche, a manufacturer whose automobiles have set the standard for performance, luxury, and sportiness. From the famed 911 to the capable Cayenne SUV, Porsche has truly covered all of the bases in the car marketplace. When the Porsche 944 was introduced in 1982, enthusiasts were in for a pleasant surprise when they found the engine of this new model in the front, with a rear hatch that opened to an enormous trunk area. This 1987 Porsche 944 S, with 14,903 original miles, is one of the best surviving examples of this model, which was only produced for 3 years. This 944 S, colored in the handsome Zermatt Silver Metallic paint and contrasting black leather interior, looks sleek and refined. The car is optioned with Body Side Molding, 363mm 4-Spoke H Steering Wheel, Automatic Speed Control, Anti-Theft Alarm, Bosch ABS System, detachable roof, and Leather Seating. These options elevate the driving experience significantly. The 944S is quite different from the standard 944. The 2.5L 16valve engine, producing 187 horsepower, starts upon the turn of the key; while the 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly. The suspension was improved from the factory via progressive rate springs, larger diameter anti-roll bars, revised gearing, limited slip differential, and braking improvements. This 944 S is much akin to a time capsule, as seen by its condition in the photographs. The dash is not cracked, like the many other 944's of the era who sat outside in the hot sun. The leather seating looks excellent, with no cracks or tears anywhere. The rear seat folds flat, expanding the rear cargo capacity. All of the interior panels share the same condition as the rest of the interior. The roof operates as it should, along with the power windows. The condition of this 1987 944 S attests to the loving ownership that his car has received. It is equipped with many desirable options that make this car ideal for both collectors and those seeking their dream car to drive in the sunshine. With such low miles, a car of this condition is becoming increasingly challenging to find. Do not miss your opportunity to own this classic Porsche!

In making the decision on whether to buy or lease your new car, it is helpful to understand the primary differences between the two options. As follows is a brief overview for your consideration.
When you buy a car, you pay for the whole vehicle. You will usually make a down payment, pay the sales tax in cash or roll them into your auto loan and pay an interest rate on the balance of the loan. Generally, your first payment is due a month after you sign your contract. This option may fit those who plan to keep their car for a long period of time and have a need to put unlimited miles on the vehicle.
When you lease, you are paying for only what you use of the vehicle. You do not have to put money down and sales tax will be included as part of your monthly lease payment. Your lease payment is determined in part on a money factor that is similar to the interest rate on a loan. You make your first lease payment at the time you sign your contract.
We hope this is helpful to determine which option best fits your situation. Our trained finance staff is available to give you further information about leasing or financing your next vehicle.
