The Firebird was built from 1967-2002. It was the same platform as the Camaro and was built to compete with the likes of the Mustang/Cougar from Ford. GM also used the name Firebird in some concept cars of the 50's and early 60's. The second generation of Firebirds were built from 1970-1981 and were available in a coupe form only and not available in a convertible again. This 1976 model we have is finished in Daytona Blue over white interior. It has been frame-on restored with paperwork and receipts to show the work completed including the engine and transmission that were built by Heiges performance at the tune of just over $5,000 and body and paint that took over 150 Hours and $6,000 in labor plus materials to complete. This car runs, drives, starts and goes down the road very nicely. These Firebirds are climbing in value. This is a fresh restoration with nothing needed .
