This 1968 Pontiac Le Mans restomod has more flair than a GTO, packs more punch from the performance-built V8, and you enjoy it all from an A/C interior. So it's not just that this is a value-priced hardtop, but you really want this because it's an all-around stunner.
The Le Mans/GTOs of this era had some of the best designs going. The hardtop had some seductive curves, and this one really shows it off the best with it custom paintwork. After all, two-tones of green represent this car's era nicely, but the added gloss and shine you see instantly signals a modern quality application. And the custom red pinstripe highlights the imposing nature of the blocky front end, and then it zooms down the side to show off the sporty curves in the sheetmetal. The hood scoop, hood pins, and full-width rear spoiler let you know this is a muscle car. And those 17-inch Cragar SS wheels are truly shining beacons of performance.
The green/gold interior is a near identical match to the one of the exterior colors, and so this is a great harmonizing package inside and out. That makes for a terrific reason to roll down all the windows on this pillarless hardtop so that everyone can get a good look inside. There's even cold-blowing R134a air conditioning so that you can enjoy this feeling even in the summertime. And the upgraded retro-style AM/FM digital tuner means you have upgraded driving music, too. So this is a great classic to share with family and friends. But you don't need any of them to enjoy this Pontiac. It's setup to be a driver's machine with front bucket seats, an upgraded center console, wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, and upgraded auxiliary gauges. And the full round gauge package with large tach goes particularly well with the Hurst floor shifter.
The largest motor available in the GTO this year was a 400 cubic-inch V8, but since this is a no-rules restomod Le Mans, they really upped the power. It starts with a larger 455ci V8. Plus, they added go-fast goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock Performer RPM intake (and you see it all so well because it's shining in the engine bay.) There are even the right supporting components like an MSD digital ignition and an aluminum radiator. It fires it nicely while making a sweet tune from the H-pipe dual exhaust. And you take firm control with a four-speed manual transmission that feeds a stout 12-bolt rear end. You'll also spot nice upgrades on the suspension like new coil springs and stronger boxed rear arms. Add in power steering, modern sport tires, and power brakes with drilled & slotted front disc, and this is a stunning-looking coupe that's a blast to drive.
Complete with owner's manual, this is a two-tone Le Mans that's out to impress with its looks, features, and power. So at a price like this, you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. Call today!!!
