1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Very Low Miles 35,779 Original Miles

Up for auction is a Low Mileage 35,779 actual original miles. Clean Carfax and Auto Check no accidents or roll backs on odometer. Very solid no rust issues 1987 Pontiac Trans Am 305 V-8 5.0L. The car has been stored most of it's life indoors. Yes, the floors and frame and under the car is clean no rust issues, see photo. The doors are solid and no rust at the bottoms, no rust on the fender's or rear qtr panel's, wheel well lips have zero rust and no bubbles. So you could call absolutely rust free. The car has very good paint except for three clear coat issue spots. Passenger side hood next to vent, see photo. The drivers side rear qtr panel upper has clear coat issue, see photo. The rear spoiler/wing has a small spot were the clear coat has an issue, see photo. Those are the only spots that I have noticed. They can be fixed by a body shop or even Carnica mobile air brushing. I figure Carnica will charge under 350.00 to fix it. They are usually 100.00 per panel for small touch up repairs. But those 3 spots do not take away from the cars beauty, it gets lots of looks on the street. The car can be made show ready with a very minimal investment. You can by all means take it to a car show with it's patina and probable win for an original 35k mile car. The exhaust has been up dated or modified to a little louder exhaust system. Not obnoxious sounding, just a little tougher sounding.
The wheels were borrowed by some one who thought they would look nicer on whatever car they were driving. (probably a Regal, Monte Carlo or Camaro if I was a betting man) But they were kind enough to leave a set of four blocks in return. So that is why it is sporting a set of gold wheels because that what was available at the time. The car drives straight and well like a 35k mile car should, just drove it Saturday being yesterday on a 339 mile trip with out any issues. Cassette player even works had a chance to listen to a George Micheal's tape, I couldn't find my White Snake cassette. The headlights also decided to stay up this time, so probably needs motor bushings if you are familiar with Trans Am's or Fiero's. If you do not know how to replace them any auto parts store can get new motors worse case or heck even Ebay. Amazon and parts stores are asking from $48.00 to $85.00 each. You can search for yourself. They do manually crank down. The interior is in great shape no rips or tears, the seats are factory with the leather in the middle, see the window sticker it is the Deluxe interior option, no rips or tears. It also has the factory T-Top headliner inserts that cover the T-Top glass from inside the car. Those are impossible to find and it has it's T-Top bag. The dashboard has no cracks. The dashboard gauges all work as they should no problems, nice and bright. Cruis, power windows and locks all work. The electric hatch release works along with the lowering motor. The A/C does not work clutch is bad.
I just sold a 1985 Trans Am on ebay with 35k on ebay a couple weeks ago it was sold on a buy it now, after words people messaged me asking if it was still for sale. No it sold but here is another chance to get a 35k mile Trans Am again. I set a very low buy it now, as you can see all the consignment dealers are asking $13,000 and more for these Trans Am's with more miles. So here is your chance to buy one without paying the commission fees and mark up. I tried to take a lot of pictures of what I usually look for when buying a car. I have more pictures available or if yoiu want a certain view, just ask. Please feel free to come by and take it for a ride. You will be very impressed. I know why am I selling it and not fixing it. I am testing the waters little and could use the money to purchase another vehicle I am interested in. It will also free up some space. But if it does not sell, I will fix a few things and buy a set of good condition Pontiac Hi Tech Turbine Wheels for it and fix the clear coat.
