Car description |

NADA guide gives the valuation of this car as $4200. We had it appraised when we first received the vehicle a year and a half ago and it appraised at $4000, it was running at that time.
V8 350 engine, under 32,000 original miles!
Needs some body work, and front interior seats need replaced/redone and new upholstery on the floor, ceiling and in the backseat and trunk. It is currently not running, it is not keeping fuel pressure so we suspect it needs a new fuel pump. Battery is new, but because we haven't been able to start it the battery needs to be recharged. We were able to take it out on the town a few times before the fuel pressure issue occurred and engine ran great. The biggest dent is in the right front panel [see pics], which is from a garbage can blowing into it during some high wind. My mom does not know what the smaller dent in the left rear panel is from.
My step father bought this car new in 1987. I was told he had the dealership change it from a hard top to a t-top. He had it painted Gold, original color is Black. The registration has never been updated to Gold.
We had a 100-point inspection done. We had an O2 sensor changed, the fuel injection system flushed & the fuel filter changed about a year ago.
The car was left outside, uncovered, in New York for 20 years so the weather stripping on the t-top is shot and the interior is in rough shape. It then spent another 10 years in the garage, in NY, with an inside car cover, but the 20 years outside had already done its damage. It has spent its time here with us in Minnesota in our garage since my step fathers death. He really loved this car and wanted to spend his retirement fixing it up. He had started some body work and was trying to fix the leaking t-tops.
We do not have the know how or the funds to give this vehicle the TLC that it needs and would love to see it sell to someone that does.
We have the indoor tan car cover for it, it has a few small tears in it but it works to keep the dust off.
We have exhaust pipes we will include with the sale of the vehicle, as well as a steering wheel cover and the freon my step father bought to fix the air conditioner. We also have a spare arm rest for it.
We have multiple sets of keys, including the original set and one original key to lock and unlock the t-tops. We have the original cover for the t-tops that is in the trunk of the vehicle. I will include any maintenance records that I have in my possession.
This car is being sold AS IS! NO GUARANTEES OR WARRANTIES!
BUYER WILL ARRANGE AND PAY FOR TRANSPORT OF THE VEHICLE.
