Car description

NO TRADES OR OFFERS, 1972 Firebird Formula 400 4 speed numbers matching car, super clean rust free body with only evidence of filler is on the drivers side lower quarter. I did see the car before paint (online) and it was super straight, without dings or dents. Since I purchased the car, I have had added, all new brake lines, rotors, pads, master cylinder, tires, aluminum radiator, fan clutch, ignition switch, spark plugs, upper control arm bushings, compressor, condensor, all new A/C hoses, conversion to R-12 and other odds and ends. The car is painted in the correct Revere Silver by a well known shop that specializes in restoring Firebirds and Trans Ams but the prep work that was done before paint fell short of a perfect job. There are areas on the sides of the hood that have small bubbles and the areas around the side marker lights could have been sanded better, a spot on the drivers side rocker that is next to the trim and the areas of the Endura nose at the bottom of the headlight bezel that could have been repaired before paint, (see pics) most people don't see these things and you have to point them out though. It also has recovered seats, new carpet and headliner, it has the original dash with a dash cap on it and I took out the original dash bezel because it was wasted and put in a 73 for now, I also put a GM Formula steering wheel in with a GM factory horn button. The rims are 17 x9.5 all the way around with a different offset in the rear, with 275/40 up front and 285/40 in the rear. The car runs and drives good, could use a new carb but currently the car has become temperamental and wants to run hot sometimes getting up to around 220 at stop lights but today it ran at 185-190 for the 5 miles that I drove it, this is something that will have to be looked at as I don't know the issue at this time. I will include a rear spoiler with the car ... Overall it's a solid complete car, that would not take much to take it to the next level. The car still has a lien so the title may take a few weeks or more, I have a lot more pics if you want to see more, just ask. CAR SOLD AS-IS, NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED...DEPOSIT OF 500.00 THROUGH PAYPAL DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTIONS END, FULL PAYMENT WITHIN 7 DAYS OF AUCTIONS END.
