64 Pontiac GTO Convertible 4 Speed Original

Here we have a very nice 64 Pontiac GTO, in Gulf Stream Aqua, inside and out. I'm listing this for a friend that is looking to thin out his collection. He's owned this car for 28 years. It has always been garaged and only used for shows and to exercise it. When he bought the car it was repainted, and it has held up quite well after all this time. The white top is decent and usable, but by no means perfect. You can get in this car and ride off into the sunset, needs nothing and it has always been impeccably maintained. I realize there's not many pictures provided, and the quality could always be better. That's why it's incumbent on potential buyers to Please Ask Questions. We really encourage anyone interested to come look at the car. Of course, this for the most part is easier said than done. Please do not bid unless you are absolutely confident that you will be happy with your purchase. I will make every possible effort to make it so.

I asked my friend about what's the undercarriage like, and if there has been any panel replacements, or patching done. He assures me that there has been no rework of this type. However, I cannot guarantee this. I also cannot guarantee that there's no collision or other body repairs, as well if there's any plastic filler applied. That's why I empasize buyer inspection.

Let's go through the documentation and the special features and the originality

Historically, the first document we see is the actual ORDER SLIP which the

Purchaser filled out checking off those features he desired. This is dated some eight months prior to delivery of this car to the purchaser. Next, the original Purchase

Invoice is included dated in August of 1964. This is sometime called the window

Sticker. Next we have the original Protectoplate and owners manual delivered to the original purchaser. It is almost as if we were there at the sale of this car!
