REMEMBER THIS A ONE OWNER CAR AND A VERY SOLID VERY MINIMAL RUST RESTORATION PROJECT

DUE TO AN INJURY I HAD TO STOP THE RESTORATION OF MY CAR FIRST OF THE YEAR!!
END OF LAST YEAR 6 MONTHS AGO FELL 6FT DOWN ONTO CONCRETE AND LANDED ON MY LEFT SIDE ARM AND SHOULDER AND DAMAGED IT AND LOW BACK AND HIPS.JUST FEW MONTHS PRIOR MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY THAT I WAS CARING FOR PAST 15 YEARS. THEN A SMALL NOISE STARTED IN MOTOR. WoW WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS!! I TOOK A VIDEO OF THE CAR AND MOTOR. I HAD A FRIEND LOOK AT IT AS WELL AND IT SEEMS TO BE COMING FROM THE TOP END AT FRONT OF MOTOR. SO THE BELIEF IS THAT IT COULD POSSIBLY BE A COLLAPSED LIFTER CLACKING NOT TOTALLY SURE. I DON'T CARE .I WAS GOING TO PULL IT AND REBUILD EVERYTHING SO ALL NEW AND AT 64 IT WILL LAST TILL I DIE AT LEAST AND STILL BE LIKE BRAND NEW!! YEAH BUDDY!!!!,OR SOMEBODY SMACKS INTO ME?? LoL IT RUNS AND DRIVES FINE. BUTJUST TO BE SAFE I STOPPED DRIVING IT. DON'T WANT TO CAUSE ANY DAMAGE TO MOTOR .I JUST GOT NEW TAGS TILL JUNE 2020 SO FULLY REGISTERED BEFORE MOTOR TAPPING NOISE. FRIEND SAID WE COULD DROP THE PAN AND REPLACE THE BEARINGS FROM THE BOTTOM. THIS IS PROBABLY A EASY FIX AT THIS POINT $500. I WAS GOING TO PULL THE MOTOR AND REBUILD IT ANYWAYS, AND AT SAME TIME REBUILD THE FRONT END AS WELL. I ALSO INSTALLED NEW SHOCKS ALL AROUND. MY FRIEND HAS A REBUILT 403 I COULD SWAP OUT FOR MINE FOR $2000 + $500. IT IS FOR ONE OF HIS CARS THAT HE IS NOT WORKING ON YET. ALSO CAN TOTALLY REBUILD FRONT END AT SAME TIME FOR $1200. GO OVER ENTIRE BODY AND PREP AND PRIME FOR PAINTING FOR $1000 MORE. OR YOU DO IT AND SAVE MONEY!! HE IS BUSY WORKING ON A 1970 CHALLENGER BIG BLOCK 440/6 PACK 4 SPEED CAR YES BITCHIN NICE CAR. TO SELL IN NEXT MONTH OR 2 FOR AROUND $70K+ IF INTERESTED OR 72 FIREBIRD PRE SMOG GONE THRU FOR AROUND 23K.

REPLACED THE TIMING CHAIN AND GEARS FIRST.NEW WATER PUMP, ALTERNATOR, STARTER, OIL PUMP, SENDING UNIT, HOSES, BELTS, POWER STEERING UNIT, AND PRESSURE HOSES. I REMOVED THE OLD DAMAGED VINYL TOP AND THE OLD WORN OUT FALLING OFF BODY BUMPER MOLDING TRIM ON THE SIDES. MADE IT LOOK 100% BETTER RIGHT AWAY. I PURCHASED A SET OF ORIGINAL PONTIAC RIMS AND NEW TIRES FOR $1200 SEE PICTURES OF CAR. I JACKED UP THE FRONT END THEN STARTED WITH THE DRIVELINE U JOINTS. NOW WITH TIRES OFF REPLACED CALIPERS ROTORS TURNED BACK DRUMS AND NEW BRAKE CYLINDERSAND ALL NEW HARDWARE FLEX BRAKE LINES INNER AND OUTER WHEEL BEARINGS AND RACES AND NEW GREASE SEALS AND REPACK AND NEW MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER.
