Car description

Born and raised in southern California its entire life. #s match, great factory colors, documented with Pontiac Historical documentation. Factory 4-speed with air conditioning! EXTERIOR: What a fantastic color, code E- Aegean blue. I'm always a sucker for dark metallic blue. It is a show quality, polished like a mirror. You could read a newspaper in the reflection. Even the jambs are slick. Super clean original body. Original 1/4 panels, bottom of fenders and doors are clean metal. The body... panels fit really nice including the rubber bumper. Up front the grills are restored. All of the stainless moldings including around the windows, top, wheel wells and rocker moldings are polished like chrome. The vent window frames are rechromed. New mirrors, door handles, and chrome bumper. Original antenna, tail lights, emblems, vinyl top look new. The windshield, window fuzzy seals, weather strips are all new. The Rally ll wheels are restored, even has correct lug nuts. New BFG tires. INTERIOR: It is outstanding inside. From carpet to headliner and including the dash it is like new. Starting at the top the blue headliner is excellent, nice and tight no wrinkles. Visors match, overhead light works, new mirror. I just noticed a very cleverly installed Secret Audio stereo remote built in the visor. The dash pad is in excellent. All the chrome plastic bezel across the dash is new and sparkles. New wood grain trim, the knobs, vents are new. It does have the rally gauge cluster with tachometer. Has a deluxe steering wheel in excellent shape, just a few cracks in the center emblem. The console is new, has correct Hurst shifter. The seats are reupholstered and recushioned. The door panels, window cranks, handles, armrests, armrests bases are all new. Mesh speaker tray in back is excellent. Original blue GM seat belts are excellent. New blue carpet with matching embroidered floor mats. Like I said this interior is outstanding. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has vin # matched 400-350 hp motor. According to the previous owner the motor was completely rebuilt. It was upgraded with an Edelbrock intake, dual feed Holley carb and a set of headers. The entire engine compartment is detailed. New cadmium plated brake booster, new master cylinder, new alternator. Correct chrome valve covers and GM hoses. Air conditioning system has been completely restored and blows cold. Things are orderly- shroud, fan, squirters are in place, hood insulation are in place. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean original metal, no spliced quarter panels or patched floor. Has fresh coat of aqua paint. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb is painted as slick as the outside. Clean seams in the jamb. New weather strip and new plaid mat. UNDERSIDE: The underside of this car is rock solid original metal. It has zero rot, no patches or repairs. We left it original, it could easily be dressed up with some black paint if someone preferred. Upfront has some new bushings, upper ball joints, springs and shocks. Bottom of motor has a clean coat of Pontiac aqua paint. Has high torque starter, new fuel pump. Correct Muncie 4-speed trans was reportedly gone through. It functions fine and looks clean. New driveshaft, original 3.23 rear end. Has new springs and shocks in back. New Flowmaster exhaust with correct welded on tips. What an awesome combination of features, colors and quality! When those 3 things are present on a GTO, you better jump on it! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now.
