Car description |

1973 Pontiac Grand Prix. There is no substitute for a low mileage 1970's Pontiac. You can't buy a beater and turn it into this for less than I'm asking. This is a pretty well loaded early production car for this brand new very popular body style, built in September 1972. The car spent it's entire life in North Carolina. This car is pre-emissions and has a pre-economy differential so it gets out of its way pretty well. It also has the better looking, smaller, lighter bumpers compared to later years. This is one of the nicest driving cars from the 70's I've ever owned. It's really smooth, controlled, very comfortable.
400 4bbl, dual exhaust
Power windowsCruiseTiltGauges all work, clock works but is not accurateAM/FM 8 Track. The radio stopped working a few years ago, the blue Stereo light works, don't know if it's a bad speaker or internal to the radio. I prefer the look of the original radio so I haven't swapped it out since I just use a portable bluetooth speaker with my phone.Converted to R134, never as good as R12 but it cools the car on hot, humid North Carolina summer days.New tiresAluminum aftermarket radiator, aluminum aftermarket intake with electric choke, HEI ignition.Car was repainted about six years ago, better than new, all trim removed, even the drive train, rubbed out. New vinyl top as well. The 73's used real wood trim on the doors, dash, and center console. This is very difficult to find in this excellent condition. There is a tiny bit of curling on the top of the dash trim.I will get a replacement center cap for the wheel.
