Car needs restoration to return it to its former glory. This auction contains 30 pictures (taken in June 2018) so there will be no surprises for the buyer. I've owned the car for about 9 years, it's been in and out of garages and barns since I've owned it as well as sitting outside with a cover. Haven't driven it for the past couple years other than to move it from where it was to take the pictures. Battery is bad and will need replacing. Car has 111,091 miles. Engine runs very well. Transmission is stuck in drive - in other words, every gear you put the selector in, is drive. It will not go in reverse, and it will need to be towed. I did drive it like that and it does shift. I talked to a Trans Shop and he said he thinks a valve is stuck or something because it did operate properly when I bought the car years ago and the sticking only happened after sitting since then. Please note - trans cross member is rotted. BODY: The car supposedly has all original body panels but I cannot verify this. There are a couple small holes in the right side of trunk as well as surface rust. As near as I can tell there is no rot in any of the floors, just surface rust and they appear original. Doors open and close as they should. Front valance is damaged and missing pieces. Left and right rear quarters have rot and previous repairs done. There is a rot hole under the vinyl top that goes through to the trunk area. There may be other rot spots that I haven't noticed. The paint is age faded as would be expected and is mostly original. There are some dings on the body. Vinyl top is torn. FRAME: The entire frame looks good and straight with no rot. Exhaust system was replaced a few years ago but now there is an exhaust leak somewhere in the right manifold area. GLASS: All glass looks good - there may be some fine scratches. Original matching numbers engine; Transmission is supposedly rebuilt and it is a 1973 trans, but I can't see the vin to see if it is original. Radiator lines are bypassed and not connected to the radiator due to a leaky line and radiator is not original. INTERIOR: Seats are dirty and there are some tears as shown in pics. Dash pad is cracked. Carpeting is dirty and needs cleaning as well as the rest of the interior. Original floor mats included. Car has AC but it probably needs a charge. Car rides and handles very well but previous owner installed heavy duty rear springs which make it lean forward. Steering is stiff from sitting. If you scroll past all the pictures, there is a link to a youtube video that shows the engine running, as well as a quick walk-around the car. Item has been described to the best of my ability.
