Car description |

This 1969 is a nice candidate for restoration. It has PHS documents. It has the following options. It originally came with a dark green vinyl top, stereo radio, front power disk brakes, air-conditioning, 4 speed Muncie transmission, hidden head lights, Ram Air Hood, Console, Power windows, and body color of Dark midnight Green. (presently in Red Primer). The darker green colors on the exterior give it that executive look.
The rust is minimal and is only slight surface rust from physical observation. The interior floors are in Great shape and the trunk floor is good with no rust through areas. The headliner and carpet were removed years ago to prevent any moisture carrying material from creating interior rust issues that normally occur when car sets for a long period of time. Restoration was on the to do list fifteen years ago and sat in a dry climate. The owner at that time came down with serious health issues that prevented his working on the GTO. This 1969 GTO is very desirable for those wanting something special in their ride. The motor is a 400 with #62 heads and rated at 350 horsepower. The motor is just setting in the motor well and does not run. The motor does turn over by hand. The tires are old and are only good as rollers, but the wheels are 14 x 7 that first appeared in the 69 GTO. The rear end is a 3:23 ratio and is open I believe. The under carriage is great shape and has been coated with undercoating to prevent rusting, plus used as a sound reduction and no major damage is present. It has the larger sway bars front and rear. It has dual pipes. The dash is cracked and there is no console or stereo, there is a radio however. The interior rear seat and rear interior panels are in good condition with no rips or worn areas. The bucket seats are good, but will need covering. The turtle backs on the bucket seats as well as the side panels are in great shape. There is no carpet or head liner. The front window is cracked, but the rest of the class perfect. Most of the original trim is there and in good shape. Originally came with wheel well opening chrome trim and one piece is missing on the passenger fender., All the signage is there except the GTO emblem on the front passenger fender. The internal tail light red lenses are missing, but the housing and bezels are intact. The hidden head lights system is complete. The AC is not hooked up, but has the compressor unit to go with the sale. GTO rolls and steers easily. Seller will assist in loading the GTO on or in the buyers trailer. You may TEXT me for further information at 360-773-3887 and my name is Bob. GTO is located at 97030. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR BIDDING.
