Up for auction is this stunning 1968 Pontiac Firebird 350ci HO 4-speed that has undergone an extensive restoration that was completed in 1997. The frame-off restoration was started in 1993 and took over 4 years to complete. The car is the original color Y-2 Maiyfair Maize and looks fantastic. I took all of these pictures less than a week ago and the car really stands tall! On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, I would rate it a solid 8. All the chrome and bright work is also in great condition as you can see from the pictures. The Firebird is a 350HO and was originally ordered from the dealer in Fort Wayne, Indiana stripe delete. When the restoration was done the current owner had the stripe put back on. The interior is all nice! The seats, carpet, dash and gauges are all intact and everything works as they should. The windows roll up and down with ease. The top folds back nice and the parade boot snaps in place nicely. The 350ci runs nice and strong! The car has the correct WK block but we have no idea if it is the original block or not. The 350ci motor was recently rebuilt from Jasper engines in Jasper, IN and has less than 50 miles since the complete rebuild, paperwork can be provided. The 4-speed Muncie transmission shifts just as a 68 Firebird should. You will have a hard time finding a nicer Firebird convertible for the money! I can assist with shipping the car is needed just let me know. I’m sure I have forgotten something so please feel free to call (after 4:30pm EST), text or email any time. Good luck!
