Car description |
---|
This is a real Pontiac Catalina 2+2 Convertible. Both the original 2+2 badges and one of the original 421 badges are shown sitting on the top of the front fenders. The factory console also has the original 421 badge still on it.
This car only comes with what is shown in the pictures. The engine is missing but the transmission is still in it and still hooked up to the shifter. I believe it is a TH400. It rolls good and should transport OK.
The major missing parts are the engine, front seats, and front bumper.
I removed the carpet so that you can clearly see the rust that it has. The floor pans are rusted through as is the trunk pan. There is also some rust in the quarter panels behind the rear wheel openings. That being said there is a lot of good metal left in this car. The top bows look pretty good and so does the dash. This car is definitely a saver and worth repairing.
There is a posi tag on the rear differential. It may still be in the car.
Also included are a couple of spare grill/nose assemblies.
There is also a 1966 Grand Prix parts car that can go with this if you want it. It is actually pretty straight and not too rusty. It is the teal car shown in the pictures.
I do have a 1965 Pontiac 421 core engine (complete) that I might be willing to sell separately. This engine is not the original one from the 2+2 and is not included in this auction.
Please call or message if you have any questions. Thank you and good luck bidding!
