Lets start off by saying this car needs some TLC. Has been sitting in a barn for 21 years! As you can imagine, barns are usually damp. You are probably looking at close to a full restore needed. Lots of rusted parts and rotted rubber. We do not know if the engine is locked up or not. The left frame rail will need replaced. Not sure about the right side. The subframe seems to be ok, but just has lots of surface rust. New floor pan will be needed. Like I said, almost all parts will need replaced. The car will need to be stripped down and dipped so that all rust is removed. The interior has seen better days. 2 cracks in the dash. Driver and passenger seats have tears in leather. Interior carpet needs replaced.
With that said, this is a very rare car. This is a 1978 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 V8 with the factory 4spd!! Only 812 were manufactured. Original motor and transmission. I have been told that it also comes with a Posi, but I do not know what kind. If you have the know how and the means to restore a classic muscle car, this just might be the one for you. Hagerty values this car around $34k in top condition!
We will entertain any and all offers. This project is just a little out of our skill level, so hopefully we can find it a good home.
