Description
This motor and trans are a complete take-out from my 1953 Chieftain daily, good weather driver. I'm transplanting a V8. It has @ 110K miles of use, and still runs perfectly. The trans shifts strong with a little "hiccup" between 2nd and 3rd gears.Maybe a stuck internal valve, but it doesn't slip. Both are totally complete with all tubes, linkages, carb, starter, gen, fan, etc. All it needs is gas and a battery to run. It has a high compression head, and other 53 parts are available. It is now mounted on a steel shipping cradle, and ready to go.
