1955 Pontiac chieftain v, automatic,4dr. Runs and drives. New gas tank and sending unit, flowmaster, interior is new, new disc brake kit still in boxes, new aluminum radiator, Body has little to no rust, very solid body. Hood has some cracks on the corners, hood hinges need some work but do operate. Headlights and tail lights/brake work, has electric fuel pump, due to stock vacuum fuel pump not working, Windshield wipers also vacuum operated but not working. Had been looking into aftermarket 12v motors. Trunk is solid but have not put carpet in the trunk. This car could use a carb rebuild. Runs and drives, but carb sometimes floods after it's been sitting for awhile or sometimes on startup. It has a toggle switch on the dash to turn the fuel pump on and off, but still starts with the key. We've done alot to it. Tires are fair. Trans slips in between shifts and has ever since we've owned it, but runs down the road ok. The car is Satin black, it looks glossy in a few photos taken when I was at the carwash. Any specific questions i will gladly answer. I've mainly just drove this car around town, I've never had it on a road trip. It rides smooth, but as I stated earlier, it needs a better fuel pump or rebuilt stock one that belongs on it to be more reliable.
