Car description |
---|
1952 Pontiac Convertible project car to restore, hot rod, or patina rod. Great candidate for Chevy LS engine and 6-speed tranny. Fairly straight body, but with rust-out of rocker strip below doors, and some areas at bottom of quarter panels, inside trunk and drivers floorboard. Has several bullet holes good for patina effect.....Other areas such as front fenders, doors, hood, frame, ect. quite rust free.
Has correct, clear and current title in my name with vehicle Serial Number matching vehicle. Missing parts: engine assembly (was straight eight), transmission, drive shaft, radiator.
Hood patina surface rust that matches the body and grille....also note new pixs, I obtained the correct 1/4 windows, regulators, and several other previously missing items making the car more complete. Doors contain correct Convertible windows, regulators, and latches. The trunk hinges and lid needs some repair on inner panel...The hood and trunk not presently bolted on but i can attach the hood hinge bolts soon. No brakes... but it does roll and steer good for moving around.
Plz visit for awesome rocker and floor repair article:hotrod.com/articles/0904rc-replacement-sheetmetal-1949-1952-chevy/Chevy and Pontiac same body parts these years.
I now have all the stainless trim for the Pontiac but some pieces have been removed to prevent theft... Many more parts also now included such as door handles, arm rests, rear view mirror, ect.
Not open to any trades. Send Phone number if more questions...
